Publishing your pages on the World Wide Web
begins with establishing your own personal domain name (Uniform
Resource Locator, URL). Your domain name is the address people
will use to go directly to your site. For example: (www.yourcompanyname.com)
Automated Information Services will do a search
of the domain name database to see if an address is available
and register it for you.
Once your web pages have been completed and approved they are then set up on a host computer under the selected name and made available 24 hours a day worldwide. Automated Information Services will perform this task for you, along with registering your URL with the major search engines and directories providing them with the information they need to send interested persons to view your site. |
